The college provides financial support to qualifying and deserving students. The students are encouraged to read the NSFAS guidelines and understand, in order to familiarise themselves with the minimum requirements to meet in order to be eligible to receive funding. Students must note that bursary application is done online. No walk-ins are accepted.

Criteria to qualify for NSFAS Bursary
  • Only South African citizens are eligible for bursary scheme.
  • A student must be registered or intending to register on a PLP, NCV or report 191 and some of the occupational programmes at any of the fifty (50) public TVET College in South Africa.
  • Must be a needy student, (NSFAS) will determine whether or not a student meets the financial eligibility criteria.
  • Returning students must demonstrate proven accepted academic performance (academical Deserving) in line with the college progression policy or progression rescripts of bursary Rules and guidelines.
  • Must not be enrolling for a qualification that duplicates previous learning that was state funded and:
  • Applicants will qualify if they fall within the thresh hold of up to R500,000 of combined gross family income per annum, received an offer for enrolment in a college.
